Week 9 kicked off with a fixture between the league leaders Lahore Tigers, and Kashmiri Panthers who were desperate for a win. Kashmiri Panthers won the toss and decided to make use of the new ball. Lahore Tigers openers batted with confidence and authority, scoring 43 off their 4 overs to give the Tigers a solid start. Things kept getting better for the Tigers with each partnership from there on, with the 2nd partnership scoring 48, third 52, forth 60 and the last partnership adding 62. The Panthers struggled to contain the Tigers who reached a mammoth total of 265 with the help of a brilliant 39 from Shaan Butt who joined Asif Butt on the wicket to put together a fiery 62. From the Panthers, Ahsan Maqbool and Mohammed Iyaz had joint best figures of 2 for 17.
In their chase the Panthers started losing wickets from the first over, courtesy of some supers bowling and fielding from the Tigers. Panthers struggled through their overs and reached a total of 129 after losing 19 wickets in their innings. The stand-out partnership 46 between Majid and Tayab. Ansur Mahmood had the best bowling figures from the Lahore Tigers. He took 4 wickets for minus 6. The man of the match award however went to Zeeshan Butt after his batting heroics and also chipping in with 3 wickets.
